Our Company History
AutoFix Garage was founded in 2005 by Michael and Jennifer Davis with a simple mission: to provide honest, reliable, and affordable auto repair services to the residents of Portland and the surrounding areas. Michael, a lifelong car enthusiast and ASE-certified Master Technician, had always dreamed of opening his own shop where he could combine his passion for automobiles with his commitment to exceptional customer service. Jennifer, with her background in business administration, brought the organizational skills and customer-focused approach necessary to build a thriving business.
Starting with just two bays and a small team of dedicated mechanics, AutoFix Garage quickly gained a reputation for quality workmanship and friendly, transparent service. Word-of-mouth referrals spread rapidly throughout the community, and within a few years, the business had outgrown its original location. In 2010, AutoFix Garage moved to its current, larger facility on Hawthorne Boulevard, allowing for expanded services and increased capacity to meet the growing demand.
Over the years, AutoFix Garage has remained committed to staying at the forefront of automotive technology. The team regularly participates in continuing education and training programs to ensure they are equipped to handle the latest diagnostic and repair techniques. The shop is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools, enabling technicians to accurately identify and resolve even the most complex automotive issues.
